Democratic action and learning German with integrated promotion of social-emotional skills

Learning German strengthens children and young people from kindergarten to senior school:

✔ Language as the key to participation: Learning German as an integrative component

✔ Democratic coexistence across cultural boundaries

Mindfulness training and language development are embedded in everyday topics, emotions and conflict resolution - through stories, role plays, creative exercises and group work.

👶 Kindergarten - "Susi & Funki"

→ Recognize feelings and build trust
→ Language development through picture book stories and emotional language development

👧 Elementary school

→ Language development through dialogic exercises, role plays and storytelling
→ Understanding cultures, developing talents, boosting confidence

🧠 Lower school & upper school

→ Focus: Multilingualism as a resource, learning German through life practice, job application training, cultural misunderstandings

Creative exercises, role plays, meditations, teaching stories, reflection and dialog
Digital impulses & job application training (from lower school)
→ Language support is incorporated into all content - both in everyday life and in the classroom

Two appointments of 3 hours each  
Implementation directly at the school

Duration:

5 x 2 hours

Our experience

We have been working with teachers, children and parents for over 50 years.
We have extensive experience with challenging classes - especially with a high proportion of non-German-speaking students (up to nine cultures per class) and conspicuous behavior at hotspot schools.

Resonance method

With the resonance method, we have been researching for over 25 years how we can communicate successfully, respectfully and lovingly with each other and how communication in resonance can be taught and learned.

Resonance is a term from physics that describes how spatially separated objects can vibrate together. Just like in a successful orchestra, different instruments play in their own natural vibration and yet come together to form a harmonious whole. The Resonance Method® works in exactly the same way.

Applied to our school programs, this means that every child finds its own melody, and every school class and every family its own music. Every culture and every religion can retain its independence and play along at the same time. If you hear your own melody deep within yourself, you are in a special state in which new things are possible. Perhaps Pythagoras was right when he said: "Everything is vibration. Change your vibration and you change your life."

Trainers

All trainers / assistants have 5 to 7 years of training and are committed to ongoing training / supervision and quality assurance. To this end, there are mandatory training courses on various specialist topics 3 times a year.

Dr. Gundl Kutschera is a sociologist, clinical psychologist and health psychologist.

She has been married for 60 years and has 14 grandchildren.

She has lived in many countries, taught at universities and is the author of many books.

For 50 years she has been accompanying people and awakening their inner dormant beauty by putting the theoretical findings of brain research into practice with simple means. 

She has been working with teachers, children and parents since 1974 and has carried out many projects to research how self and social skills can be taught and learned just as precisely as any other school subject.
